Challenge Camerounais Darmstadt 2010 –
„Time for a new generation“ vom 21.-23. Mai 2010
Vom 22. bis 23. Mai 2008 nahmen wir aktiv an der Challenge Camerounais Darmstadt 2010 „Time for a new generation“ im Land Hessen teil.
Die 18. Auflage dieser kamerunischen Kultur-, Business-, Sozial- und Sportveranstaltung versammelten in diesem Jahr rund 8.000 -10.000 Gäste aus allen Ecken Deutschlands und dem Rest der Welt.
Help Now war diesmal stark vertreten und zwar mit dem Präsidenten, dem Bildungskoordinator, dem neuen Koordinator für Technologietransfer und Entwicklung, dem ehemaligen 2. Vorsitzenden und dem neuen Vereinsmitglied, Chefarzt Dr. Alain Nguento.
Unter den dort vorgestellten und sehr guten vielseitigen Programmangeboten über Wirtschaft und Soziales haben wir speziell mit zwei Beiträgen die fünfte „Jubiläums“- Auflage des „Challenge Business & Social Forums“ mit animiert.
Nachdem Herr Tchamabe unsere Organisation vorgestellt hat, folgte Herr Kuetche detailliert mit einem Sozialprojekt in Nordkamerun, nämlich die Erweiterung einer Grundschule, das mindestens 50.000 € für dessen Realisation benötigt. Der Vortrag ist vorm Herrn Windisch, dem Verantwortlichen für Projekte der Diaspora Richtung Heimatland bei der GTZ in Eschborn, gehalten worden. Herr Windisch gehörte dabei zu einer Jury, welche die vorgetragenen Projekte beurteilen sollte. Bei dem zweiten Projekt handelte es sich um eine innovative Idee junger kamerunischer Studenten aus der Universität Dortmund, die einen Bildprojektor für Unterricht „Made in Cameroon“ entwickelt haben. Ihr Ziel ist es, dieses energiesparsamere Gerät in allen Schulen und Hochschulen Kameruns betreiben zu lassen. Sie haben aber darauf hingewiesen, dass ihr Projekt noch mehrere offene Fragen hat, speziell im finanziellen Bereich, mangels Finanzexperten in ihrem Team.
Wir hatten außerdem reichlich die Gelegenheit uns bei dieser großen Veranstaltung gezielt und intensiv mit möglichen Partnerorganisationen auszutauschen. In diesem Rahmen sprachen wir mit der exekutiven Sekretärin der Organisation CAA Frau Rothfuss (Club des Amis de l’Allemagne, „Freundeskreis Deutschlands in Kamerun“), Herrn Christian Kouam, Präsident der großen Dachorganisation der kamerunischen Diaspora in Deutschland (CDN-G), Frau Christine Evina vom Immo-Invest und weiteren verschiedenen wichtigen Vertretern.
Der Botschafter von Kamerun in Deutschland, S.E. Jean-Marc Mpay, hat sichbei uns trotz seiner vielen Verpflichtungen vor Ort, lange über unsere Organisation und über die laufenden Projekte informiert.
